The foam core, engineered by Imaging Solutions in collaboration with leading experts, comfortably supports patient transfers, repositioning and primary nursing care. Increased amounts of an antimicrobial agent guards against a large variety of microbes.

Although standard printing on the Bariatric mattress includes cleaning instructions, item description, recommended weight limits etc, customized printing such as hospital, department or ward names can be added.

Imaging Solutions’ Bariatric Mattress has been manufactured using 4 layers of hospital grade foam, with density, hardness, and depth playing a major role in its construction.

The top surface under the torso has been castellated, increasing surface contact and potentially reducing risk factor, while the heel section has a memory foam insert.
